Flourish Joshua, also known as Poet to the Lost Souls, is a catalyst of hunger, love, and passion for Jesus; a poet, writer, thespian, and editor.
As a seasoned spoken word artiste, he has shared the stage with prominent gospel ministers, artistes and Christian creators like Moromoluwatiketike, Chinaza Favour, Pst. Nathaniel Bassey, Evang. Tope Alabi, Gaise Baba, Philipiano, Esther Osaji, Bidemi Olaoba, Bimpe Funso, Victor Praise, Emeka Madubata, Mairo Ese, Theophilus Gaga, Zion Princess, Jimaro Okpa, amongst others.
The winner of the 2021 Salt Nation Poetry Prize, the 2021 Young Writers and Creatives' Award (Poetry Category), the finalist of the 2021 NO CONTACT Poetry Prize, and the 2022 Villena-Aldama Poetry Prize.
Joshua is the founding editor of the Ogun State-based poetry journal, Olúmọ Review; the President of The Frontiers Collective—an assemblage of twenty seasoned page poets; and The Oracles Collective, an assemblage of thirteen spoken word ministers.
Joshua currently reads English at Mountain Top University and works as an editor with TurnedPagesCo, Cardiff, UK.
